Sharon Dulay is a proud introvert. Growing up Sharon was always quiet, and it was not until her mid 20’s that she learned that she was an introvert. She now works as an Elementary School Teacher. She grew up in Canada and loves being outdoors. Creative writing, bike riding, traveling, and playing games with her nephews and niece are some of her favorite things to do.
The inspiration for writing “Gia and the Moon” was Sharon’s own experience as an introvert. As a child, Sharon herself, Sharon’s teachers, parents, and coaches, did not have the knowledge of what an introvert is. Therefore, by writing this book, Sharon hopes to bring awareness to the topic of being an introvert to young readers so to guide them to be proud of who they are and share their gifts with the world.
Sharon worked with The Self Publishing Agency, to publish the book. Illustrator Robyn Leavens, Editor Kelsey Straight.
